These terms govern your use of Moji, a Japanese vocabulary learning app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Use of the App

Moji is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the app to study Japanese vocabulary, track your progress, and access included learning content. You agree not to reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the app or its content.

Educational Content

Moji's vocabulary, translations, example sentences, and mnemonic notes are provided for learning purposes. While we work to keep the content accurate, language learning involves nuance and we do not guarantee that every translation, reading, or explanation is perfect or appropriate for every context. Moji is a study aid, not a substitute for instruction from a qualified teacher or for professional translation.

Subscriptions

Moji is free to download and includes a paid subscription, Moji Premium, that unlocks additional features such as detailed mnemonic notes. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID at the price and interval shown at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

Refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

Your Data

Your study progress and preferences are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app will remove this data. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how information is handled.

Intellectual Property

The app, its design, code, and original content are owned by the developer of Moji. Japanese vocabulary entries are drawn from publicly available linguistic sources and are presented for educational use.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific learning goals.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer of Moji is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app or your subscription in the twelve months prior to the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Moji at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or discontinue the app, or any feature within it, at any time without notice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
